Marcia Elizabeth (Midge) Corson

Marcia Elizabeth (Midge) Corson, 79, West Plains, Missouri, passed away at 12:53 p.m., Monday, February 17, 2025, at Ozarks Healthcare. 

She was born November 6, 1945, at Wilmington, Delaware, to Russell A. Williams and Edith Jameson Williams.  On May 25, 1966, she was married at Wilmington, Delaware, to Clifford Dallas Corson, who preceded her in death on September 28, 2014.  Mrs. Corson was a veteran, having served with the United States Army; she was a member of the AmVets Post of West Plains.   She was a very hard working person with a strong work ethic.  She worked for Amoco/Citi group for over thirty years and was very fond of her time there and the friends she made throughout her career.  Midge loved making quilts and blankets for others.  She was active in horse riding and did trail rides throughout Missouri and Illinois.  She was an excellent baker and enjoyed baking cakes for friends and family.   

She is survived by three children, David Corson and wife, Michelle, Altoona, Iowa, Russell Corson and Clifford Alan Corson, both of Urbandale, Iowa; two granddaughters, Pamela Corson, State of Florida and Chelsea Corson, State of Iowa; two brothers, Richard Williams and wife, Marlyn, Hodgesville, West Virginia and Denny Williams and wife, Diane, Wilmington, Delaware; and several nieces and nephews. 

Her parents and husband preceded her in death.
