Marilee Alice Barnard
Marilee Alice Barnard, 90, West Plains, Missouri, passed away at 2:39 p.m., Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Ozarks Medical Center.
She was born June 23, 1933, at Rock Port, Missouri, to George Woodson Easley and Jessie Cathalene Hall Easley. On August 18, 1956, she was married at Hocomo, Missouri, to Billy Warren Barnard, who preceded her in death on April 24, 2006. Mrs. Barnard loved music and enjoyed playing the piano; she played keyboard for the gospel group, Heaven’s Travelers, with her son, Jeff, for a few years in the early 2000’s. She also enjoyed bowling, playing video games and loved spending time with her family and friends. Marilee was a lifelong Baptist and was a member of Amy Baptist, Baptist Hill and lastly Bethel Baptist Church.
She is survived by two children, Jeffrey Barnard and wife, Kimberly Faith, Marshfield, Missouri and Marcus Barnard and wife, Diana, West Plains, five grandchildren, Joe Barnard and wife, Kista, Tom Barnard and wife, Leann, Mike Barnard and significant other, Lana Snodgrass, Caitlin Barnard and Haidan Barnard, all of West Plains; five great-grandchildren, Haley Jo Rich Barnard, Gracie Barnard, Kaylee Barnard, Dagen Jones and Isabelle Snodgrass; and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, one brother, George (Bud) Easley, Jr., one sister, Margaret Ellen Judd, one sister-in-law, Ada Easley and one brother-in-law, Junior Judd, preceded her in death.
Services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
