Monty Kim Camden, 65, West Plains, Missouri, passed away at 4:10 p.m., Sunday, September 20, 2020, at his home.
He was born November 2, 1954, at West Plains, Missouri, to Denver Noah Camden and Loeta Ilene Decker Camden. Monty loved to ride his bike and anything that went fast. He especially loved his grandson, Jase and his daughter, Hanna. He enjoyed hunting and taking Jase fishing.
He is survived by his daughter, Hanna Martin and husband, Mikey; two grandchildren and one on the way, Jase and Justus; two sisters, Pamela Snelson and Sally Bush; his aunts and uncle, Joe Decker and wife, Connie and Juanita Decker; several nieces and nephews; and his best friends, David Fox, Tommy Gale and all of his brothers at Kinsmen M.C.
His parents, three uncles, J. D. Decker, Gary Lee Decker and Ronnie Decker and his best friend, Hippo Warren, preceded him in death.
Family and friends may pay their respects from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 West Main, West Plains, MO 65775.

I’m so very sorry. I liked and loved monty!! Grew up together after 8th grade, but played together as infants in same playpen at Dora at aunt Janice Grisham house!!! He was a good man!!! He’d help people when needed.

Oh my Darlings,
I am so sad to hear of Monty’s death. Please know you have our deepest sympathy as well as our Love and prayers! So wish we were nearer to you so we could somehow be able to help you through this terrible pain. I have this picture in my mind of how happy he was the day of your wedding . It will be a treasured memory!

I’m so very sorry to hear about this, I have known Monty since we were in high school. He worked with me for a period of time in Springfield and drove a truck for a food service company. I still remember when he drove that 1969 Mach 1 Mustang which was the prettiest car in West Plains. Hanna I pray for you and your family, your daddy was a great friend and I will miss him dearly. So sorry to hear about Monty passing away!! Have known him since I was 11 years old. When we were younger all of us would get together and hang out around 6th street. Those were the good old days!! Will be praying for you all . God’s love and comfort. Vicky(Lott) Birdsong.
