Nadine was a very kind person. My mother worked for her mother at Tecumseh in the 60’s. Mose and I grew up on adjoining farms on Bridges Creek. He was older but they both always had time for everyone and treated everyone with respect and kindness. They are surely missed and I will always have very warm memories of both of them. God Bless your families.

We are so sorry for everyone that deeply loved Nadine. She was such a kind and truly wonderful person and we will miss her so very much. She had the best hugs and the warmest smile and was always the highlight of our trips to Missouri. When we couldn’t be with her in person, we loved hearing her voice and she always brought a smile to our face.
The Tin Man in the Wizard of Oz said that a person is judged not by how much they love but how much they are loved by others, and our cousin Nadine, was truly loved by all. Please take comfort in the days ahead knowing that someone as loved as Nadine brought a light so bright to the beautiful Ozark mountains that even after she is gone, her light and smile and hugs will remain with us all. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you as we smile through our tears and remember our dear cousin, Nadine.

Reggie and Mark,
I loved your mother. She was such a sweetheart. You two were fortunate to have Nadine as your mom.
Memories of time spent with your family are some of the best. Both of your parents were always so gracious to me as a youngster, all the while being great friends to my parents.
Thinking about you two today, a couple of fun times came to mind.
Mark, I hope you are thankful that Reggie and I taught you how to ride your bicycle one Sunday afternoon.
And, we can’t forget the time we were catching lightening bugs after church one summer evening. We needed to poke holes in the jar lid, so, since I was the oldest, it was my job. Well, I never intended for the ice pick to go through my thumb. I swore you two to secrecy. I broke the news to my mom hours later after we returned home. I can hear my mom now, “ Why didn’t you tell me when it happened? Don’t you know you
can get lockjaw???”
So, I suppose it’s our turn to assume their roles. I just hope I can come close to being the person your mom was.
Love you guys,
Brenda (Luna) Harbison
