Neal Dixon Secrease, Sr.
Funeral services for Neal Dixon Secrease, Sr., 88, formerly of West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 19, 2013, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Secrease died Sunday, June 16, 2013 in Evansville, Indiana at Columbia Healthcare. He was born October 30, 1924 in Lanton, Missouri. A WWII veteran, he was a steelworker at Continental Steel Mill in Kokomo, Indiana for 30 years before relocating to West Plains, Missouri to enjoy retirement.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Lillian LaVee (Shanks) Secrease, three sisters, five brothers and his parents, Samuel and Ollie (Holloway) Secrease.
He is survived by his children, Neal Dixon Secrease, Jr. (Carol), Cutler, Indiana, Carolyn Lucille Crago (Ed), Kokomo, Indiana and Carla Sue Doty (Tom), Newburgh, Indiana; four granddaughters; nine great grandchildren; one sister, Wanda Secrease, Harrisburg, Arkansas; and two brothers, Roy Secrease, Jonesboro, Arkansas and Harold Secrease, Ash Flat, Arkansas.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m., until service time Wednesday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the State Line Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to State Line Cemetery or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Neal was a very good man, honest , kind hearted, giving of time, money and love.

Neil was a great guy, there was never a dull moment with him. I think it’s safe to say “they don’t make them like that anymore.” He will be greatly missed.
