Norma Jean McLarning

Funeral services for Norma Jean McLarning, 78, West Plains, Missouri, will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 2, 2012, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Mrs. McLarning died at 10:48 p.m., Saturday, April 28, 2012, at West Vue Nursing Center.  She was born August 6, 1933, at Rockford, Illinois to William and Claire Littlejohn.  On December 12, 1952, she was married in the State of Illinois to James Edward McLarning, Jr., who preceded her in death on July 21, 1985.  Mrs. McLarning was of the Church of Christ faith.

She is survived by three children, Barbara Johnson, husband, Tony, Bakersfield, Missouri, Brenda McLarning, significant other, Mark Johnson, Mountain Home, Arkansas and Robin Fitzgerald, West Plains, Missouri; four grandchildren, Lawrence Fitzgerald, Jr., wife, Jenny, Michelle Parker, husband, Casey, Marcus Johnson and Shayna Shelton, husband, Jeffrey; eight great-grandchildren, Toby, Michael, Angel and Carl Fitzgerald, Peyton and Caden Parker and Madison and Tristen Shelton; and many nieces and nephews.

Her parents, husband and sixteen brothers and sisters, precede her in death.

Committal services will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Edgar Springs Cemetery, Edgar Springs, Missouri.
