Funeral services for Olga Janebell Squire Kennedy, 99, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 16, 2017 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kennedy passed away at 6:05 a.m., Friday, October 13, 2017 at her home, at the amazing age of ninety-nine years.
She was born April 28, 1918, at San Francisco, California. She was the oldest daughter of eight children born to Frank Talmage and Mabel Gertrude Kenney Squire. As a young child, the family moved to Sturkie, Arkansas. She attended school at Lone Oak and Salem schools in Arkansas. Olga married Basil Amos Kennedy on March 28, 1936. To this union three children were born, Jack, Jane and Jeannette. This beautiful marriage lasted sixty-five years before Basil passed away on June 4, 2001. Mrs. Kennedy has been a member of the Church of Christ since 1934.
She is survived by two daughters, Jane Gilbreath and husband, Jack, West Plains, Missouri and Jeannette Stephens, Schererville, Indiana; special daughter-in-law, Judy Kennedy; eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; seventeen great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Orvena Jo Moss; sister-in-law, Rachel Squire; and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, son, Jack, four brothers, two sisters, granddaughter, Rene Stephens Casale, great-grandson, Patrick Ross Armstrong, and recently a nephew, Danny Squire, of Moody, Missouri, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Jeanette, so very sorry for the loss of your mother. What a long awesome life she had. It would have been awesome to hear her growing through life stories. Please accept my sincere condolences.
