Ora Eugene (Gene) Ellison

Graveside services for Ora Eugene (Gene) Ellison, 79, Hartville, Missouri and formerly of West Plains, will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the Amy Cemetery near Hocomo, Missouri under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Mr. Ellison died 8:15 p.m., Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the Hartville Care Center. He was born December 26, 1932 at West Plains, Missouri to Lenzie Otis and Bessie May Johnson Ellison. On May 27, 2003, he was married at Mansfield, Missouri to Janet Wimberly. Before his retirement, Mr. Ellison was employed by Amyx Manufacturing. He was a Christian.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Ellison, of the family home; two sisters, Dora Lorene Carrell, West Plains, Missouri and Opal Turnbull, husband, Wayne, Springdale, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents, three brothers, Leslie, Bobby Joe and Truman Ellison and two sisters, Bertha May Albro and Ida Ann Ash, precede him in death.
