I’ll never forget Orbie helping out with softball when I played on Dennis’s team. I really liked his glove and he gladly let me barrow it a couple games that is something that has stuck with me all these years his giving nature. Sorry for your loss, sending thoughts and prayers your all’s way.

Hello Sherry. I’m sorry we never got to meet, but your dad helped me sing with my mother & aunt Pauline several songs years ago to record for Connie Counts. I loved Orbie Dale and hoped things would turn out well for him. I knew his dad better than I knew him. Orb was my 2nd cousin. His dad was my mother’s uncle. God bless you with peace as you reflect on His promises and remember your dad. I pray God comforts you.

I was so sorry to see this post about Orb. We knew him from the bus route at Fairview when I first moved here. I was a single mom and really didn’t know a soul to trust. He not only transported them, but kept a close eye on them & became a friend. He will always be a guardian angel to us. Thank you so much for sharing him.
