Coach,
I wanted to say sorry for your lose. I remember my arrival to West Plains community and how Mrs. Shemwell took me in. She was like having a member of my family travel to school with me – there were so many hugs, and meals that were warm and sincere. She was a great person. Heaven became an even better place on July 9th!!
Love you from Guster family

Ron, Cindy & Steve,
I want you to know that I am keeping you in thought and prayer. I will always remember the “goodies” that I got from the oven when I visited your home and being treated like family each time I was over for an evening or afternoon. I will never forget Peggy’s laugh, it was contagious, you had to laugh when she laughed. I wish I could be there with you, but know that my heart is present.

So sorry to hear about your dear mother passing. She was a beautiful lady with a great heart of gold. I have great memories of her and her mother (Ruth). Being a few years younger than your mother, I recall as a teenager admiring all the pretty shoes she had in her closet and couldn’t wait until I got old enough to work and buy some pretty shoes like hers. She laughed when I told her I looked at her pretty shoes today, and she replied , “well if they would fit, I ‘d give them to you”. I think of her today eveytime I buy a pair of shoes. I loved when she would play the piano in church and all the Gibbs kids would line up to sing, Jesus loves me, Deep and Wide, Climb up Sunshine Mountain and Roll Away. She would smile at us when we finished singing as if to say, “I’m so proud of you”. I will never forget her laughter, she was such an inspirational lady. I know the angels are now singing.
