Phyllis “Deloris” Harriell
Graveside services for Phyllis “Deloris” Harriell, 75, Alton, Missouri, will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Cave Spring Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Harriell died at 5:15 p.m., Monday, January 16, 2012, at Brooke Haven Health Care, West Plains, Missouri. She was born April 27, 1936, at Alton, Missouri, to Ray and Golda Marie Fanning Andrews. She graduated from Alton High School with the class of 1954, and in 1954, she was married to R. P. Norman, who precedes her in death. In 1980, she was married to Charles Edmond “Chuck” Harriell. Deloris grew up in Alton, Missouri and was quite the industrialist working as a real estate broker, an abstractor and later as a reporter for the West Plains Daily Quill. She loved animals and outdoor activities, including fishing and hunting, especially turkey hunting. Mrs. Harriell was a member of the Cave Springs Freewill Baptist Church, Alton, Missouri.
She is survived by her husband, Chuck Harriell, of the family home; two brothers, Joe Andrews, wife, Mary Ellen, Norman, Oklahoma and Ray Andrews, Jr., wife, Janice, Alton, Missouri; four nephews, Jerry Andrews, wife, Lila, Neosho, Missouri; Gary Andrews, wife, Cindy, Norman Oklahoma, Jason Andrews, wife, Jan, Doniphan, Missouri and Gentry Andrews, wife, Priscilla, Alton, Missouri and several great nephews.
Her parents and first husband, R. P. Norman, precede her in death.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Cave Spring Cemetery and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
