Beryl Susie Anstine

Funeral services for Beryl Susie Anstine, 87, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 4, 2025, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Anstine passed away at 3:25 a.m., Monday, March 31, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She was born September 21, 1937, at Koshkonong, Missouri, to Max R. Dern and Mildred June Moore Dern. She was the second oldest of four children. On December 20, 1964, she was married at Koshkonong, Missouri, to Robert Joseph (Bob) Anstine, who preceded her in death on April 22, 2021. Mrs. Anstine worked at Puritan Fashions in Thayer, Missouri from 1957 – 1964 before becoming a homemaker. She loved working in the garden, reading, bird watching and spending time with her family and her beloved dog, Rilie.
She is survived by one son, Jeff Anstine and wife, Sherry, West Plains, Missouri; four grandchildren, Jessika Hatten and husband, Shay, Reece Anstine and Kelsie Orr, Tiffany Grogan and husband, Benny and Zach Stokes and wife, Jessica; four great-grandchildren, Stetson and Maguire Stokes, Daxtyn Grogan and Ellis Orr, all of West Plains; two sisters, Mildred Ball and husband, Larry, Koshkonong, Missouri and Velva Tharp and husband, Bob, Colorado Springs, Colorado; one sister-in-law, Bridgett Dern, Koshkonong, Missouri; one family friend, Haley Williams, West Plains; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, one son, Randy Anstine, one brother, Ray Dern, three brothers-in-law, Pete, Dale and Don Anstine and two sisters-in-law, Rosalee and Frances Anstine, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at Homeland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or Homeland Cemetery, and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., West Plains, Missouri.
