Ricky Lee Lovewell
Ricky Lee Lovewell, 60, West Plains, Missouri, formerly of Mountain View, Missouri, passed away at 8:15 a.m., Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at his home.
He was born October 13, 1956, at Davenport, Iowa, to Clarence Clifford “Bud” Lovewell, Jr. and Jeanne Egbert Lovewell Schauer. Ricky graduated from Buena Park High School with the Class of 1975, at Buena Park, California. He worked in masonry and the lumber industry. Ricky moved from California, to Arizona, Montana and lastly to Mountain View, Missouri; he recently moved to West Plains. He loved surfing, enjoyed game shows and was a sports whiz. He was very knowledgeable of all sports stats. Ricky was an all-around sports fanatic, especially all Los Angeles teams. He enjoyed mowing and yard work; he worked hard, but played harder. Ricky loved celebrating life.
He is survived by his mother, Jeanne Schauer and husband, Norman; one sister, Peggy Schmitz; two brothers, Danny Lovewell and wife, Marliana and Martin Lovewell and wife, Wanda; several nieces and nephews; and many step-brothers, step-sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
His father, one sister, Jo Lynn Lovewell and brother-in-law, Kurt Schmitz, precede him in death.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at OMC Cancer Treatment Center for their loving care and compassion shown to them and their loved one during a very difficult time.

Rest in Peace Brother Rick, I will miss you tremendously. You are no longer
in pain and in the arms of Jesus. Wish to thank Ozark Medical Cancer Treatment Center, Ozark Medical Hospital and all the kind and caring staff, and Doctors, in his treatment and Riverways Hospice and staff with his recovery in transition to Heaven. Took some time to mourn but I know you’re in peace with the rest. It is a joy being your younger brother you are my best friend,hero and champ. So much talent and a brilliant mind.
