Shirley Helen Mask

A private graveside service for Shirley Helen Mask, 89, West Plains, Missouri, will be held under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mask passed away at 7:31 a.m., Sunday, January 26, 2025, at her home.
She was born February 24, 1935, at West Plains, Missouri, to Charles Sylvester Ross, Sr. and Phoebe Ellen Collins Ross. On February 3, 1951, she was married at Salem, Arkansas, to Gene Mask, who preceded her in death on August 29, 2005. Mrs. Mask enjoyed collecting dolls, playing piano, her puzzle books, politics and her cats. She loved relaxing in her recliner with her cat, Jo Jo. Shirley was a poet and wrote many beautiful poems throughout her life.
She is survived by two children, Travis Mask, West Plains and Carlissa Gilliam and husband, Craig, Rogersville, Missouri; one granddaughter, Chelsea Gilliam and husband, Josh Brown, Rogersville, Missouri; two great-grandchildren, Carlisle Gilliam-Brown and Adeline Gilliam-Brown; her loving best friend of fifteen years, Bill Mosley, West Plains; and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, one daughter, Sherry Jean Mask, four brothers, Basil, Wayne, Earl and Charles Sylvester Ross, Jr. and three sisters-in-law, Betty, Maxine and Ruby Ross, preceded her in death.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 West Main, West Plains, MO 65775.
