MeeMee You are one of kind and will be greatly missed. I know you are up in heaven with Pa just having a great time. I know you won’t want us to cry for you cause I can hear you say in that sweet voice “don’t cry for me I’m with my heavenly father and the love of my life.” It still hurts knowing we are not going to get to see that smiling face and as Michael says “No more of MeeMee fried chicken that was the best. BreAnna said last night MeeMee loved me unconditionally and made me feel as one of her own. Well that is how MeeMee made anyone that she came in contact with fell. I don’t remember not knowing The
Earls family. My heart breaks for you all and my thoughts and prayers are with you all. This earth has lost a very special women and Heaven has gained a Angel. Love You MeeMee!!!!

Shirley Earls; just saying that name brings a smile to my face and warmth to my heart. Shirley was a beautiful woman, inside and out. You just felt happiness and peace radiating from her. I guess our families have known each other about all my life; but I the first time I really remember her was when I was a 14 year old girl. My sister, Sharon, Shirley’s cousin, Brenda and I went to the little church in Willow to sing one Friday night…Shirley and Jerry were so friendly and welcoming and I just fell in love with that big wonderful family…that night a friendship was started with the Earls family that’s lasted for many years.. even though when I moved away, I didn’t get to see them often… but every time I did see them, they were always the same… never changing in their faith in God, their love for each and other and their family and friends. This family has a closeness that not every family is blessed with. It’s has been such a blessing to have known you, Sis. Shirley … and I know you are having a wonderful reunion in Heaven right now… so until then… when we meet again.. I say goodbye for now…and I will miss you! My prayers go out to this precious family… I know their hearts are breaking… You were blessed with wonderful parents!

I just was thinking about her family and viewed this page. I lived in willow springs when I was twelve years old and Shirley and her family were the most loving people I’ve ever met in my life. We came from the city and my parents bought a farm not so far from theirs. We broke bread together and they treated me like family. We would ride horses with all the children. Jerry helped me break a horse when I was so young and scared. We went to their church and it was the best time of my life. I love them and my heart is broken. We went to visit them one last time when my brother Michael passed away in 1990. My brothers family still lives in Willow Springs. My parents both passed away too and they always spoke highly of her and Jerry and of course the children.
Much love Kimberly Patton. For the children here is my email address [email protected]
