Sue Bridges
A memorial service for Sue Bridges, 72, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 14, 2018, at Curry Street Church of Christ.
Mrs. Bridges passed away at 10:57 p.m., Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Ozarks Medical Center.
She was born August 4, 1946 at West Plains, Missouri to Russell Wood and Lola Dollins Wood. Sue graduated from West Plains High School with the Class of 1964. On June 8, 1968 was married at West Plains, Missouri to Gene Bridges. Sue enjoyed shopping, cooking and working with her husband, Gene, in their business. Mrs. Bridges was a member of the Curry Street Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Gene Bridges, of the family home; one brother, Doyle Wood, wife, Terri, West Plains, Missouri; one sister, Doreen Bridges, husband, Danny, West Plains, Missouri; her sister-in-law, Barbara Wood, Bolivar, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and extended family.
Her parents, one sister, Evelyn Bunch, one brother, Bob Wood, her mother-in-law, Loretta Bridges and one nephew, Clevey Bridges, preceded her in death.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fair Haven Children’s Home and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

So sorry to hear about Sue passing. Sue and I worked together at the L&L Beauty Shop back in the 70’s . She was a good friend. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Gene – Sue lived life. One of the most genuine gals we’ve ever known. Sure gonna miss her smile. Take care of yourself. Hugs and prayers.
