Trula May Barnes
Funeral services for Trula May Barnes, 92, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 13, 2015 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Barnes passed away at 12:05 a.m., Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Ozarks Medical Center.
She was born September 12, 1923, at Pocahontas, Arkansas, to Hodge England and Ollie Hall England. On December 15, 1945, she was married at West Plains, to Albert Harlin Barnes, who preceded her in death on October 12, 1996. Mrs. Barnes held many positions throughout her lifetime, including working in a garment factory during World War II, International Shoe Factory and Fair View School. She enjoyed fishing, singing, cheerleading, picking blackberries and an occasional trip to Branson. Mrs. Barnes was a supporter for Sporting Chance and Special Olympics. She was very proud of her American Indian heritage. Mrs. Barnes was a member of Providence Baptist Church.
She is survived by three children, Mary Huff, Sarah Dye and husband, David and Ray Barnes and wife Judy; eight grandchildren, Tammy Cox and husband, David, Belinda “Boo” Steele and husband, Richard, Renee Griffin, Danny Dye, Dennis Dye, Brian Barnes and wife, Becky, Greg Barnes and Debra Stokes and husband, Alex; nineteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, son, Larry Barnes, great-granddaughter, Kimberly Johnson and all of her siblings, precede her in death.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gideon Bible Society and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Ray, Judy and family, I was so sorry to hear of Trula’s passing. May God put comfort in your hearts as only He can. Love you all very much.

Was so very sorry to see that Aunt Trula had pasted. I have wonderful memories of her and Uncle Albert and all the kids when staying with them when we visited West Plains.
