I knew Mrs. Colbert through her son George Colbert. She had visited the church at Brighton several times and I had the joy of meeting her and visiting with her. I was very much impressed with her down to earth friendly smile and love for God and family. I went away from the time thinking she is a real person and a great mother! God bless you all as you share in the memorial service for her this Friday.

To all the Colbert family:
Your mom was the most caring and loving person. She always welcomed our family into her home. David and I were there on many occassions. She raised all her children to be wonderful, caring and thoughful people. She will be greatly missed by the Hale family (Glen, Myrtle, David, Barbara & Sally). Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

To Mary and The Boys, I’m so sorry for the loss of your Mom. She was a very sweet loving Lady. I will never forget Aunt Vernieca. God needed a special Angel and He picked the right one for the job. She was a blessing to us all. I know she was greeted by the rest of our Special Angels in Heaven. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I’m sorry I couldn’t make it to the services but I didn’t find out in time. Love to all of you. Fonda
