We truly miss Hubert & Veva everytime we drive over the hill to the church at VMC. They were so sweet to John & I and we loved singing with them. Everytime we walked in the door Ms veva would say We were watching the door for you and so glad you’re here. Hubert would always say prayers were answered when we see you. It really will never be the same without them but we’re trying to honor them in everyway and all the wonderful people we met that have since passed on . They really were special to us and we miss them so much. God Bless all you Boys our prayers are with you all and your families. They were truly great testimonies of endurance and committment to all.

Although I had never met her, I know it takes a wonderful woman to raise a wonderful family and she seems to have had the devotion of her family as only a woman who was well loved could have. I offer my sincere condolences to the family .

We want to express our deepest sympathy for the loss of your mother. Both of your parents were wonderful friends and neighbors. We always met them on our gravel road on the way to church. They were very failthful and dedicated to their church. You always knew when the church doors were open, your parents were there and I think this is an example and testimony that you boys will always remember. We have watched all of you boys grow up. We pray that God will bless and comfort each one of you .

Veva was such a wonderful lady. She will be greatly missed. I had the pleasure of helping to care for her at Brooke Haven. Even when she was not feeling well she always had a smile for the people around her. I will always remember her fondly.
