Willard Clifton Hardcastle

Funeral services for Willard Clifton Hardcastle, 92, Caulfield, Missouri, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 25, 2012 in the Rose Chapel of the Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Hardcastle died 8:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the Hospice House of the Ozarks, Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was born July 13, 1920 at Caulfield, Missouri to Everett and Nell Long Hardcastle. On October 3, 1944, he was married at Mountain Home, Arkansas to Ivene Lawing. Mr. Hardcastle was a veteran having served with the United States Navy during World War II and was a well-known dairy farmer in the Caulfield area. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Ivene Hardcastle, of the family home; three children, Diane Ellis, husband, James Terry, Bakersfield, Missouri, Gary Hardcastle, West Plains, Missouri and Kenny Hardcastle, Moody, Missouri; two grandchildren, Holly Adams, Mountain Home, Arkansas and Christopher Ellis, wife, Jessica, Gamaliel, Arkansas; three great-grandchildren, Kendra Adams, Mountain Home, Arkansas, Chrissa Ellis and Keybinn Ellis, both of Gamaliel, Arkansas; and two sisters, Wilda Newberry, Peoria, Illinois and Marcella Thornton, Kansas City, Missouri.

His parents and one infant sister, Wilma, precede him in death.

Mr. Hardcastle will lie in state from 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 24th, until service time at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at Fowler Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice House of the Ozarks and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
