Dad, just want to thank you for the incredible journey that still goes on for me.
From inner city Taunton, Bliss Brothers, even the Taunton Bus Terminal where we would settle in, get breakfast or lunch, and carry on with the most awesome day. We didn’t have a lot, but what we had made this family so thankful to have you as our Patriarch.
You did things right…you worked hard for Mom, worked hard for me and Jill, and just as hard for EVERYONE in your immediate family and beyond.
I can only pretend to be the awesome man you were, but I will try in your name and honor.
Thanks for teaching me sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much as I grew from a boy into a man. Thanks for the spontaneous roadtrips into Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine ( climb Pulpit Rock ) if you can…it’s awesome.
Thanks for not treating me any differently whether my shirt was blue or white. Thanks for not killing me for not getting married and having a grandchild for you….just wasn’t meant to be dad!
Loved you before, and love you even more now.
